Banner Displays…

The banner displays are always a hit. The MEGA banners are so big. People don't realize how big they are until they get up close and among them. They become engulfed and cannot see it all in one grasp. You see them looking up and down making new discoveries.

There are so many different themes. There are banners for petroglyphs or rock art, images chipped in stones centuries ago. We photograph them in the field and then develop graphics for the banners and kities. There are sunsets. Some are on one banner. Others stretch out over many. One of our favorites stretches over 8 panels  -- over 50 feet long. A common theme is the Soul of the Southwest. Many of the banners reflects the consciousness of the Southwest, both from the various cultures and from nature itself.

Then we have fun, too. There is the Wind Through My Hair series. These are designed to make people smile when they see them. They are simple cartoon type faces with dangles of hair flowing off one end. We even name them, like Screaming Mimi and Junior. One of the favorites is called "Don't Take What Little I Have Left".

To the right you can see a banner we did as therapy to help us deal with Sept 11th.

"Hope I get to meet you sometime. And when we do, wander through the banner display and let me know which one you like the best. Enjoy life and spread your love everywhere! "         Carveth...
